Celebrate Princeton, an Online Broadcast

To mark the tradition of our annual "Celebrate Princeton Street Fair," we honor and celebrate some of the vibrant people, places, businesses and attractions that make Princeton, WV a wonderful place to live.

"Memories on Mercer Street" Mural!

Designed by the amazing Ellen Elmes, based on stories from our community, this 12x20 work of art, being painted on 18 separate fabric pieces, will be glued with an acrylic gel permanently to the wall in Summer 2021. The talented Lacey Vilandry is leading the painting of the work, assisted by Rita Montosse and Richard Shrewsbury of Holler Gallery and other artists. Creatively-inclined people in the area are invited to come help paint the mural fabric during “Community Paint-Ins” scheduled for June 12, 19 and 29 from 1-5pm in the back of Appalachian Coffee House at 860 Mercer Street. Anyone aged 5th grade and over that has a steady hand and can paint inside the lines is invited to help paint the artwork! Click here for more information.
